Ad Personam Puglia Tailor-made trips and experiences

First I listen, then I advise. And if you like, I’ll take care of everything.

Getting to know you

It all starts with a conversation.

First of all, I want to understand who you are, what you like and what you’d love to see in Puglia. Whether you’ve already booked where to stay or have no idea how to get around, we start from you: from how you like to travel, what you’d like to experience, and the memories you’d like to take home.

My job isn’t just to give you advice: it’s to build a truly tailor-made trip, made just for you!

  1. Getting to know each other

You tell me who you are and how you like to travel. I listen.

  2. Imagining

I suggest your trip, or the best experiences for you, explaining every choice.

  3. Living it

You set off with peace of mind: with my advice, or with everything already arranged by me.

The places

My journey starts on the Costa Sveva, and goes wherever yours takes you.

Puglia is a long region, and it changes a lot from one area to the next. I won’t take you where everyone goes out of habit or fashion: once I’ve understood you, I choose the places and the people that tell the story of the real Puglia, and I tell you why. Explore the map to discover the region.

Map of Puglia divided into five areas From north to south: Gargano, the Costa Sveva along the Adriatic, Murgia inland, the Itria Valley and Salento. Matera is shown in Basilicata, outside Puglia.

Costa Sveva

Seaside towns and historic centers to enjoy slowly: Barletta, Trani, Bisceglie. Harbor life, the Adriatic Sea, the local cooking and produce, with olive groves just behind.

Read its story

A white rock arch over blue-green sea, with pine woods behind.

Gargano

The promontory in the north, much of it a national park. Inland, ancient woods, rural landscapes and small villages. On the coast, white limestone cliffs, sea caves and rock arches over the water.

The octagonal courtyard of Castel del Monte seen from below, with blue sky and a few clouds.
Castel del Monte, the octagonal castle commissioned by Frederick II, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Murgia

Quiet rural landscapes, farming culture, the bond between land and table: the inland Puglia that many travelers don’t know. This is the plateau of the Alta Murgia National Park: open pastures, dry-stone walls and old stone farmhouses. It’s where Altamura bread comes from, and where Castel del Monte stands.

Ostuni at sunset: the white houses climb up to the cathedral at the top of the hill.

Itria Valley

Its white towns, the trulli landscape, a slow pace made of walks, long meals and magical villages. From the trulli of Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to the whitewashed lanes of Ostuni; from Locorotondo, gathered in a circle on its hill among the vineyards, to the dense woods of the Selva di Fasano and their oaks.

The baroque façade of a church in Lecce, with statues, columns and a large rose window.

Salento

Lecce and its baroque, carved in a pale, soft stone that is worked almost like embroidery; two seas, the Adriatic and the Ionian; a culture with a strong identity, which you can feel in the music and in the streets of its towns.

Matera at dusk, with its stone houses lit up.

Matera

Basilicata

A city carved into the stone, and one of the oldest in the world. The Sassi, the two ancient districts dug out of the rock, have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993, and all around there are more than 150 rock-hewn churches, carved into the limestone.

The Costa Sveva

It’s named after Frederick II of Swabia, who built and strengthened his castles along this stretch of the Adriatic, in Barletta, Trani and Bisceglie. In Trani the Romanesque cathedral, begun in 1099, rises by the sea, next to the harbor. Here, according to tradition in 1063, the Ordinamenta maris were written, one of the oldest codes of maritime law in the Western world.

It’s the part of Puglia I know best, because it’s where I was born, and it’s home.

A carved stone capital in the foreground; behind it, out of focus, the rose window of a Romanesque church in Trani. A pale stone wall in Trani, with blind arches and an arched window in raking light.
Rosemary in front of a stone wall with a white shutter. A prickly pear with a yellow flower; in the background, a blurred hill. A pomegranate flower among the leaves, backlit.

About me

Who’s behind it

I’ve worked in hospitality and tourism for years. In Trani I run a family B&B, and to me every guest who arrives is first of all a person to welcome: warmly, attentively, wanting them to feel at home.

Over the years I’ve seen so many travelers arrive in Puglia with the same lists, the same places, the same worries. And I’ve seen how much a vacation changes when a local tells you: “If I were you, I’d go here!”

That’s where Ad Personam Puglia comes from. From the wish to create experiences and trips tailored to each traveler, starting from their tastes, needs and preferences. I listen to you, I understand you and I recommend only what’s truly worth seeing. If you like, I’ll take care of everything else. Because to me “best” has a precise meaning: made to measure for you.

I advise you, or I take care of it.

Tailored advice

Do you like to plan things yourself, but don’t want to waste time searching? I’ll put together a tailored set of experiences, with the reason behind every choice, and everything you need to book on your own.

I’ll take care of it

Would you rather not think about it? I’ll handle everything: bookings, the itinerary, transportation. All you have to do is enjoy the trip. The more time we have to prepare it, the better our chances of making it exactly the way you want.

Tell me about your trip in just a couple of lines. I’ll take care of the rest.
